Solid Rock Independent Baptist Church was founded when a group of fundamental independent baptist families met together on June 10, 2007 to determine where they could worship in the Cumberland area. Having the specific qualifications of traditional music, King James Bible only, and a soul winning nature led the group to organize this autonomous church. SRIBC answers the need for an Independent Baptist Church in the Cumberland Area.
God has steadily led His people in the purchase of property (a former bar and dance floor now serve as the auditorium and Sunday School rooms). He provided needed furniture and baptismal before He actually gave the church the property. Many times God has met the need before God's people even knew it was going to be a need. He has truly been faithful and blessed abundantly.
